Introductions 2 Minutes of the Last meeting These were agreed as a true and correct record. 3 Matters Arising 3.1 Due to the low attendance it was felt that it would be unwise to try and take any business forward. 3.2 VB proposed that WMSIP nominate Chris Newis for the position of Vice chairperson of DWM and would like the view of other members on such a proposal.. 3.3 It was decided by the D:WM Policy Working Group (PWG) following a proposal by Sharon Palmer (RAWM) that some of the D:WM under spend be used for the development of a business plan for WMSIP rather than the proposal put forward by JG (Below are all the details of SP proposal I have at present). Develop a thematic Business Plan for WMSIP The business plan will include the following: Additional work will also look at the terms of reference and structures of the SIP as well as look at its current membership / membership criteria.
3.4 Corrected Electronic versions of the D:WM Strategy and the Directory are attached for Proof Reading prior to any dissemination. Please read your section and get back to Surinder with any errors ASAP.
3.5 SS informed us that discussions are planned with Capacitybuilders on their decision not to fund the DWM Modernisation projects and there is some hope that there might be better news in June.
