West Midlands Specialist Infrastructure Partnership

The West Midlands Specialist Infrastructure partnership is an independent body that exists to support collaboration among regional specialist infrastructure networks, partnerships and consortia.

Membership

The partnership is open to representatives from all West Midlands voluntary and community sector specialist infrastructure networks, partnerships or consortia that operate regionally.

The term ‘specialist’ differentiates us from general or generic infrastructure. It includes the following types of specialism:

  • People/communities – delivering to specialist groups/ communities of interest
  • Policy – advocacy and championing
  • Specialist Skills – providing knowledge

Objectives

The group currently operates with the following objectives:

  • Campaigning and Influencing
  • Sustainability of the members
  • Joining up and co-ordinating activity
  • Networking and information exchange
  • Supporting Regional Consortium development

Vince Bailey currently provides a secretariat function for the group as detailed in a separate agreement with RAWM.
