To ensure that there is a strong regional voluntary & community sector network, which can influence policy makers in taking a proactive approach to the challenges raised by demographic changes in society.
Aims and Objectives:
- To maintain a steering group that will lead the development of this regional voluntary & community sector network.
- To actively seek and engage marginalised groups representing older people and aging issues.
- To promote membership of the Network in order to reflect diversity of the communities within the West Midlands region.
- To develop networking opportunities for sharing of good and innovative practice, exploring shared values/common purpose and understanding of the regional dimension.
