Vision Statement:

To facilitate effective joint working amongst voluntary sector (VS) infrastructure organisations in Shropshire in order to:- 

·        Provide consistent, high quality infrastructure services to voluntary and community organisations across the county

·        Raise the profile and strengthen the voice of the VCS locally and regionally

·        Ensure coherence of infrastructure activity making best use of the resources available


Aims and Objectives: 

By 2014, it is anticipated that VS organisations in Shropshire will be:

·        Able to manage themselves more effectively

·        More sustainable

·        Equipped for better leadership & governance

·        More able to take advantage of developments in information & communication technology

 ·        Be able to access support Shropshire-wide

By 2014, it is anticipated that the voluntary sector in Shropshire will:

·        Embed an equalities & diversity culture

·        Benefit from a modernised volunteering structure

·        Work together more effectively

·        Be better understood and valued by partners

·        Be more influential
