i. To enable VCOs to access high quality professional and technical services
ii. To enable providers of high quality professional and technical services to support VCOs
iii. To work with other infrastructure service providers to improve the quality of services for VCOs
iv. To enable public sector agencies to work with the sector by providing access to professional and technical experts with knowledge of the sector and access to VCOs
Aims and Objectives:
§ Offer VCOs access to technical aid to be able to explore and take advantage of community asset transfer opportunities
§ Continue to enhance the PTAS register of quality assured consultants and extend its availability across the West Midlands;
§ Advocate for the provision of consultancy funding - securing resources from public sector agencies, charitable trusts, etc;
§ Extend the provision of free professional services through partnership with the public and private sectors;
§ Widen the reach of PTAS across the Region - working with ChangeUp Consortia and public sector agencies to identifying opportunities and partnerships to deliver services;
§ Secure resources for the coordination of PTAS from public sector agencies, charitable trusts and examine opportunities for income generation.
